I'm so happy I found this. It's part of a series of photographs I took 2 years ago with my Canon IXUS 2 back in the days when all I had was 16mb SD card so I had to upload them and erase the card for more pictures X3 However, then I had a harddisc wipe and I thought my photos were gone forever. I forgot that I had them printed out... So today I was cleaning up and I found them so I quickly scanned them in It's a bit of a shame that pictures which were digitally taken on high resolution got rescanned... so there is quality loss, yet I loved these so much I wanna share X3
This was taken in June 2004 at 6:30 a.m. in the morning. It was actually the day of a partial solar eclipse, that's whay I had my camera with me and on my way to work, I came past this forest and I saw the rays of sun deep inside it and I took my chance. It's really just a matter of being at the right place at the right time.
Beautiful shot... have you ever though about doing this B/W? If you get it just right, this could be even more stunning w/ no colour (believe it or not ). Great work.
Hey there!
Found you on Thumbshare somehow...
This is such a special photo, what with the eclipse and its beauty! Too bad it's not 1024x768, it would make a wonderful wallpaper. (I'll try to make it work anyway on my desktop... ) It looks so fresh and all those colors make it breathtaking. I can smell the scent of all that vegetation and hear the birds sing! Congratulations!

You have an eye for capturing sunlight. Nice work. The only thing I have to say (this applies to all your pics) can you size them down?

Is that better? I 've had people ask me to put up high resolution. I have 1600x1200 screen so I don't really know what size would be best. is 1024x768 better? Thank you for all the comments. I've still got loads to learn ^__^ but your comments really helped me into the right direction!
It hasn't changed. Did you resize it? The size that's best is 800x600
I'm glad I could help

Okay, I'll resize all of them once I get home (I don't have any graphics program here at work. Only MS PAINT which kills jpgs. X3) It makes sense to have smaller size... makes browsing much easier Thanks again!

There are 2 univeral languages, music and art. To grasp either is to allow you to communicate with the world.
